Mini-bus driver shot while entering his premises- men escaped on bicycles

Thirty-three (33) year old, mini-bus driver Takraj Boodram of Belvedere South Squatting Area, Corentyne, Berbice, was last evening shot to his left shoulder after three armed men pounced on him.

According to the police Boodram was about to enter his premises when the three men approached him and one of them, who was armed with a firearm, discharged a round that hit him to his left shoulder.

The men escaped on bicycles.

The man has been admitted to hospital, as the investigations continue.
