The Guyana Bar Association is still to decide is it will recall the two inmates, who have already testified at the Public Hearings of the Camp Street Prison Riot, Commission of Inquiry which started last Thursday.

The Association’s President Christopher Ram told the Chairman, Justice James Patterson that an answer is forthcoming before the day ends.

Attorney, Mrs. Excellence  Dazzel as of today (March 14) will be providing the Commission with legal guidance, after the Guyana Bar Association decided to offer that service “pro bono.”

“Her job is to lead the witness” said Justice Patterson noting that “he was advised that he (Ram) will recall the witnesses at his pleasure”.

During last week, inmates Dwayne Lewis and Errol Kesney appeared before the Commissioners giving their recount of what happened on that faithful day that 17 other prisoners lost their lives in a fire at the detention facility.
