FREE TRAINING WORKSHOPS FOR BUSINESSES PARTICIPATING IN GUYEXPO 2016

Businesses exhibiting their products and services at this year’s GuyExpo will have an exclusive opportunity to participate in a range of training workshops organised by the Secretariat in collaboration with key players in the Private Sector.

These workshops will be offered free of cost to entrepreneurs and business representatives, and will focus on aspects which are crucial for business growth and development. These aspects include Packaging and Marketing, Promoting your business through Social Media, Access to Finance and Preparation of Business Plans.

Meanwhile, to ensure that exhibitors understand the requirements for participation in this grand exposition and to ensure they receive the maximum benefits thereof, the Secretariat is also exploring the possibility of hosting a “How to work a Trade Expo” workshop.

To facilitate maximum participation by exhibitors, all of the workshops will be conducted in the GuyExpo venue, National Exhibition Complex, Sophia during the period May 12 – 15, 2016, each for a maximum duration of one hour.  To register to be a part of any or all of the workshops, exhibitors are required to contact the GuyExpo Secretariat on or before Tuesday, May 10, 2015.

GuyExpo 2016 is slated for Thursday, May 12 to Sunday, May 15, and will be held under the theme “50 Years, Guyana Means Business – Promoting Enterprise, Driving Productivity”. This premiere trade fair and exposition organised by the Ministry of Business in collaboration with the Private Sector, will give many local businesses of all categories, types and sizes and other foreign exhibitors the opportunity to showcase the products and services they have to offer, not only to those who reside in Guyana but also those living abroad who will be visiting Guyana for its fiftieth independence celebrations.
