Possible traffic disruption on East Bank Demerara

The Ministry of Public Infrastructure (MPI) is informing the general public of a possible traffic disruption on Friday May 20, 2016, along the East Bank Demerara public road, between Houston and Providence.

This disruption is expected to occur from 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs to facilitate the unveiling ceremony of the 50th Anniversary Independence Arch at Agricola/Eccles, East Bank Demerara.

The Ministry further advises road users to pay attention to special arrangements that might be put in place to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic and to comply with all instructions issued by officiating police officers.

It apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused.
