CMG Releases A Golden Jubilee Bookazine

The Corbin Media Group (CMG), Guyana’s preeminent magazine publisher has released a special bookazine (a combination of a book and magazine) titled GUYANA: The Growth of a Nation, as one of its contributions to the country’s golden Jubilee of independence celebrations.

The 124-page high-quality GUYANA: The Growth of a Nation is presented with a sturdy embossed cover, glossy pages, beautiful photos and an easy-to-read layout.  This comprehensive publication includes messages from President David Granger and Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo,  pictures from every decade, a 50-year timeline, maps, features on our arts and entertainment industries, business contact information, a trivia, calendar of events and much more.
 
CMG noted that the commemorative publication took nearly a year to gather the contents and do the design and layout. The publication attempts to help readers reflect and celebrate five decades of a growing nation in one package.

The well put together articles were written by a knowledgeable group of contributors the likes of Dr James Rose, Viviene Daniel, Al Creighton, Petamber Persaud, Linda Griffith, Alim Hosein and Marilyn Dewar just to name a few.

Since 20, 000 copies of this full sized keepsake product was printed, CMG intends to get it into every nook and cranny both in Guyana and the Diaspora during its free distribution drive. Complimentary copies will also be handed-out at many jubilee events and available at government offices, hotels, resorts, libraries, other high traffic areas and later readable online.
