    The results of the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) were released today during a Press Conference at the National Centre for Education and Resource Development (NCERD).

     

    Fourteen thousand, three hundred eighty-six candidates wrote the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) on 27 and 28 April 2016.

     

    Mae’s Under 12; Anthony Ferreira along with Dharmic Rama Krishna’s Aryan Singh copped top places with a tie at 568 marks. This was followed by Serena Razack of Graham’s Hall Primary School with 565 marks.

     

    The highest attainable mark was 583.

     

    Also in the top ten is Chelsea Barnes with 563 from Success Elementary, Arun Sooknarine with 562 from Dharmic Rama Krishna and Helia Agard with 561 from Success Elementary.

     

    “Parents and students are advised to log onto the Ministry of Education website: education.gov.gy. The candidate’s timetable will provide the necessary information to access these results” the education Ministry said.
