The Champions of Change non-governmental organization has a new location in Georgetown and is calling on school drop outs and other persons who want a new lease on life to visit the office and get registered for free classes.

When News Room first featured the NGO, it was located in Mocha/Arcadia, East Bank Demerara, however, with hard work and additional sponsorship the organization is now conveniently located on the top floor of the Maraj Building on Charlotte Street, Georgetown.

And with this new location, new things are happening, says President, Sabrina Craig, who noted that the organization wants to give talented youths a better future by offering free classes in a number of subjects, such as reading and Computer Science.

“We are here to push talent to the next level and helping people with disabilities and other things, so I just want to tell the public they’re free to come in at any time, whatever is your problem we are here to help you, ” she urged.

Craig said adults are not left out of this equation and explained what the Foundation is offering this group of individuals.

She noted that “people who drop out, adults who drop out of school and don’t have hope anymore we have people here to work with them to push them to a next level.”

Meantime, another representative of the NGO, Dennis Richards urged  that young people engage in productive activities and don’t get caught up with illegal activities.

Richards said, “instead of being in the streets you can find something to do with your life.”
