President extends condolences on death of former Forestry Minister

President David Granger in a statement on Saturday extends heartfelt sympathy to Mr. Kenwyn Carmichael and the other relatives of the late Mr. Fitz Uriel Alexander Carmichael, former Minister of Forestry.

Mr. Carmichael passed away on Friday, September 23.

He was an educator and first Regional Minister of Barima-Waini (Region One) and later served as Minister of Forestry and Member of Parliament during the PNC administration.

In a separate statement, the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) said it is deeply saddened by the passing and extends condolences to his family members and close friends on his passing.
