An exciting match is in the making as Tucber Park from New Amsterdam will clash with Rose Hall Town Bakewell in the long awaited final of the 2015 New Building Society Limited (NBS) sponsored 40-over second division cricket competition for teams in Berbice.

After a long delay due to a prolonged raining season and with close to 100 teams taking part, the final is now fixed for the Albion Sports Complex on Sunday October 16, starting at 11:00h. The two teams boast several top youth and seasoned players.

To pick a winner is a difficult task. Tucber Park, who will be led by national coach Julian Moore, have on their line-up players such as former national Under-19 pacer Niall Smith, national Under-19 all-rounder Joel Seitaram, national Under-17 batsman Steve Deonarine, who is fresh from an Under-19 hundred, former Berbice youth wicketkeeper Hakeem Hinds and the hard-hitting Keon DeJesus.

The match is expected to attract a large Sunday crowd with musical entertainment at the venue and ball-by-ball updates.

Tucber Park squad: Julian Moore (captain/coach), Steve Deonarine, Hakeem Hinds, Keon DeJesus, Joel Seitaram, Chetram Persaud, Nial Smith, Ameer Seecharran, Trevan Caesar, Omar Weatherspoon, Lookpaul Sahadeo, Leon Swammy, Teron Sampson and Deon Sinclair. Kellon Henry is the Manager.
