Giftland launches Sophia development project

The Giftland Cares, Sophia Project was on Friday launched to provide aid to provide the community with basic reading and writing skills, job skills and apprenticeship, health and dental care, and improve its sports facilities.

An agreement was signed at the Entertainment Strip, Giftland Mall between the company’s Chairman, Mr. Roy Beepart, Sophia Community Representatives, Mr. Collin Marks and Ms. Odessa Primus.

There’s currently a Sophia Community Charity Raffle available at Giftland. Tickets are $500 and the grand prize winner will receive one 58inches Samsung Smart Full HD 1080P TV while the proceeds will go towards restoring the Sophia Community Centre, “educate under privileged youths, teach vocation, and restore dignity and pride.”
