Cabinet notes award of 24 multi-million dollar contracts
Georgetown, Guyana – (May 18, 2017) Cabinet at its meeting on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 noted the award of 24 contracts valued $749,583,929.00 by the procurement entities and the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) in the area of infrastructural development.
The contracts are for projects in Essequibo Islands-West Demerara (Region Three), Demerara-Mahaica (Region Four) and Upper Demerara –Berbice (Region Ten) and are part of the Government’s ongoing programme to construct and/or rehabilitate urban and miscellaneous roads in all communities countrywide.
