    Charity Secondary School made easy work of New Opportunity Corps (NOC) in the Region Two final of the Digicel Nationwide School Football tournament that continued on Tuesday at the Anna Regina Community Centre ground.

    Charity ended the match with an 11-nil drubbing of NOC to move onto the national playoffs set to commence in a week’s time.

    Areil Chester started the proceedings with a goal in the seventh minute of the match.

    In the eight minute, Lindon Daniels doubled the lead when he raced on to a pass from just outside the penalty area to fire into the far corner.

    Gavin Duke then added to the lead in the 17th and 32nd minutes while Stephon Clarke had a goal in the 22nd minute to end the first. Charity would go on to score five more goals with Duke adding two more to his tally in the one-sided match.

    Meanwhile, over at the Wisburg ground in Linden, Wisburg Secondary ground, Christianburg/Wismar Secondary beat Linden Technical Institute (LTI) 5-0.

    On target for the winners were Jehu Regis-13th and 65th, Darwin Adolphus-25th, Omar Brewley-45th and Jermaine Mason-68th.

    Games in the nationwide tournament will continue throughout the week at various venues across the nation.
