International Pharmaceutical Agency (IPA) on Sunday last brought smiles to the faces of five mothers in observance of Mother’s Day 2018.

Sales Manager of IPA, Shamieza Yadram, journeyed to three city hospitals, presenting hampers to the mothers. The hampers comprised Perfect Baby Pampers and Wipes.

“We are delighted to share the joys of motherhood and recognise the importance of motherhood in the lives of kids. We honour mothers and this is a small way of doing it,” Yadram said.

Hampers were presented to Rosalend Sanichar of Itabali Landing, Mazaruni River. She delivered a boy at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).

The other beneficiaries were Chrishna Peniral of 2A Queen Street, Georgetown, who delivered a girl at GPHC; Brandy Edwards of 1675 Cummings Park, Sophia, who also delivered a girl at GPHC; Sawarsattie Shakeer from 814 Block Y Golden Grove, East Bank Demerara, who delivered a baby boy at Woodlands Hospital; and Malika Parasram of 80 Williams Street, Kitty, who delivered a baby girl at Mercy Hospital.
