Opposition Leader, PPP prays for President’s full recovery

Opposition Leader, Bharrat Jagdeo Thursday afternoon welcomed news that President David Granger’s health analysis was successful and wished him a speedy recovery.

“Politics aside, we should all let him know he has our full prayers,” Jagdeo stated at a press conference.

The Government Wednesday evening announced that the President was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a form of cancer, and was undergoing treatment in Cuba.

Jagdeo said the PPP was pleased to see that the President is in fine form and in a good frame of mind and is expected to fully recover.

“The PPP wishes the President a full recovery and our prayers are with him- the entire nation’s prayers are with him,” Jagdeo added.
