Cause of death of Mae’s student ‘undetermined’

The cause of death of Mae’s Secondary School student Vanica Schultz is “undetermined.”

The post mortem was conducted today by Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh but he could not make a determination on what caused her death.

“Body contents, blood and urine samples were extracted to be tested and analysed,” Police headquarters stated Monday afternoon.

The body was handed over to relatives for burial.

Schultz was 15 years old. Reports are that she arrived at school Thursday morning and gave her friends apology and encouragement letters, after drinking carbon tablets.

She later succumbed at the Woodlands Hospital.
