The Leader of the Alliance For Change (AFC) Raphael Trotman on Sunday handed over a brand new home to the mother and children of the late Shenika London on behalf of the party.

London, 37, was stabbed to death in May 2017 by the father of her five children; the children are now in the care of their grandmother June Allicock.

At that time, construction had commenced next to the shack where they resided at Lot 1206 Central Amelia’s Ward, Mackenzie, Linden,

After hearing of the deplorable conditions under which the children lived, the discomfort and in some cases humiliation they faced, Trotman commenced mobilising to realise the new home for the children and their grandmother.

The AFC, which is the minority party in the governing coalition, donated and solicited support in excess of $5 Million dollars to complete the new home.

In a brief statement Leader, Trotman stated that the party is happy and humbled to be associated with this project and wished the children comfort, peace and God’s richest blessings.
