President expresses condolence on death of Lady Ramphal

President David Granger Monday said he was “saddened” at the death of Lady Lois Winifred Ramphal (née King), the beloved wife of Sir Shridath Ramphal, O.E.

“Undoubtedly, she would have served as a tower of strength and support during their 70 years of marriage and would have immensely contributed to the invaluable service her husband has provided to Guyana and the world,” the President’s office said in a statement.

The President expressed heartfelt sympathy to Sir Shridath Ramphal, their children, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
