Schools ready to be opened on Monday

The Education Ministry has noted that schools are set to re-open on Monday.

According to the Ministry, Education Minister, Nicolette Henry visited fours schools across the city to assess their readiness.

The Education Minister was accompanied by the Head of Buildings- Ministry of Education Mr Ron Eastman who visited the schools visited were Sophia Primary, Turkeyen Nursery, New Campbellville Secondary and Tutorial High School.

Minister Henry said she wanted to get a first-hand understanding of the preparations that are currently ongoing on the ground to be satisfied that when school re-opens there will be no issues.

Based on what was seen on the ground, Henry indicated that she was satisfied with the preparations so far.
