Young man shot dead in Georgetown 

Police are investigating the brazen gunning down of a young man on Middle Road, La Penitence Georgetown on Thursday afternoon.

Dead is Navindra Samaroo; he was shot in broad daylight.

Regional Commander, Senior Superintendent Phillip Azore said the residents in the area are being tight lipped about what happened.

As such, the motive behind the shooting remains unclear at this time and details remain sketchy.

Detectives are still on the ground investigating and are hoping that CCTV footage may shed light on the broad daylight murder.
