24 new COVID-19 cases, 71 recoveries recorded
The Ministry of Health on Thursday recorded 24 new COVID-19 cases from 109 tests. This brings the total number of confirmed cases since March to 4, 098.
According to the Ministry’s COVID-19 dashboard and additional 71 persons have recovered bringing the total number of recoveries to 3, 154.
There are seven persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 78 in institutional isolation and 732 in home isolation. An additional 31 persons are in institutional quarantine and 123 have died.
The new cases were reported in Region One with one new case, Region Three with four new cases, Region Four recorded 13 new cases, Regions Five, Eight and Nine reach recorded one new case and Region Ten recorded two new cases.
