45 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Regions 1 & 4
45 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Regions 1 & 4
Guyana on Friday recorded 45 new COVID-19 cases pushing the overall total to 4,143.
The number of persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has moved from seven on Thursday to 10 on Friday.
A total of 19 new cases were recorded in Region One and 26 in Region Four.
The recovered cases have moved from 3,154 on Thursday to 3,192 on Friday. To date, there have been 124 deaths.
There are 75 persons in institutional isolation and 740 persons in home isolation while there are 37 persons in quarantine.
To date, the Ministry said 19, 266 persons were tested for COVID-19.
