Another COVID-19 death takes toll to 146
An 88-year-old woman from Region 10 has been recorded as the country’s 146th COVID-19 death.
The Ministry of Health in a statement said the woman died while receiving medical care at a facility. The latest fatality also represents the 20th recorded death for the month so far and a 3rd COVID-19 related death for the weekend.
The Ministry earlier reported the deaths of a 29-year-old man from Region Seven and an 89-year-old man from Siparuta, Region Six.
Both patients also died while receiving care at a medical facility.
