    Thirty persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24hrs pushing the monthly total to 1,243.

    This is according to the Ministry of Health’s daily dashboard which currently records 5,406 COVID-19 cases in the country.

    Monday’s new cases were recorded as follows; two in Region Two, four in Region Three, two in Region Four, 16 in Region Six, five in Region Seven, and one in Region Ten.

    There are currently three persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Infectious Diseases Hospital.

    According to the daily COVID-19 dashboard, there are 797 persons on home isolation and 63 persons in institutional isolation.

    There are 31 suspected cases in institutional quarantine.

    The Ministry reported that so far, there have been 151 deaths and 4,392 recoveries.
