23-man Golden Jaguars squad named for clash against Guatemala
Guyana's Golden Jaguars will be among 12 participating teams in the preliminary round of the Gold Cup
Head Coach Marcio Maximo on Monday named a 23-man squad for the Golden Jaguars’ Concacaf Gold Cup preliminary round qualification match against Guatemala.
The Golden Jaguars will face the central American nation at 21:30h local time on Saturday, July 3 at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The winner of this first round qualification fixture will play either Guadeloupe or the Bahamas on July 6 for a place in the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup final competition. The 2021 Gold Cup takes place between July 10 and August 1 at various venues across the United States.
All remaining players on Guyana’s 60-man provisional tournament squad list will be placed on standby.
