Rotary Club of Garden City, members recognised at Rotary District Awards

The Rotary District 7030 held its District Awards recognising Clubs and People of Action for the Service Above Self offered throughout the year.

The Awards recognised and celebrated projects, activities and accomplishments across the region by clubs and members.

“Congratulations to the Rotary Clubs of Guyana and Rotarians who received various awards. Special congratulations to the members of the Rotary Club of Garden City (Georgetown) for receiving the District Governor Citation Award (Four Stars) for their outstanding contribution to the goals and objectives of District 7030 for the year 2020/2021,” Rotary Club of Garden City said in a Facebook post.

“Our very own Charter Member Liz Cox was also awarded a Certificate of Recognition and the Hero’s Award for her outstanding service to District 7030 for the year 2020/2021.”

The Paul Harris Society Members were also recognised for their consistent and selfless contributions to Rotary.

The Rotary Club of Garden City (Georgetown) has three members in this society, namely Liz Cox, Pearson Burch-Smith and Ronald Burch-Smith.
