‘Babe Cave’ dedicates space to South Rupununi women and children

Babe Cave Guyana has partnered with the South Rupununi Conservation Society and ARMCORE VPI to launch a project in support of the women and children of the South Rupununi.

There will officially be a space in the Babe Cave filled with crafts and other items handmade by our Indigenous women and children. 100% of proceeds will go directly to the Crafters and Artists.

Babe Cave is Guyana’s first Collaborative Space for Women in Business. Our aim has always to be a community of women making a difference in as many lives as possible while working together to elevate and grow our businesses. The aim of this project is to promote entrepreneurship among our Indigenous People while conserving Amerindian culture and arts and adding value to their work.

We are truly excited to welcome the women and children of the South Rupununi to our Babe Cave community. This is a project of pure love and soul. Each piece made has a story waiting to be told.

Ultimately, our hope is that this initiative will grow and eventually extend to Indigenous communities across Guyana.
