‘Jamzone’ is back with nine young women vying for the coveted crown

Jamzone is back!

The annual event kickstarts at the Kingston Beachfront on July 31 with a day filled with beach games, bikinis, frolic, performances from local artistes, the winner of the Jamzone song competition and over $3 million in cash and prizes to be won.

Ms. Jamzone delegates will also be on stage showcasing their fantasy swimwear.

The Miss Jamzone pageant makes a return after years and will be held thereafter comprising of a national costume, talent costume and swimwear segments at the National Cultural Centre.

The delegates of the pageant were selected from a bevy of young women.

This year’s contestants will focus heavily on tourism with each delegate representing the townships.

The aim of the pageant is to create opportunities for tourism, promote societal connections and encourage self-confidence among young women. With delegates currently being trained in every area including modelling techniques, public speaking and diet and fitness; the queen will walk away with a motor car while the first and second runner-up will receive $500,000 and $250,000 respectively.

Early bird tickets for the Jamzone Beach day cost $2000 and are now available at HJ Box Office, That Look Boutique, StoveTop Restaurant, Fireside Grill N Chill, Exclusive Styles, Shop and Save and White Castle Fish Shop.
