24 new COVID cases recorded

Twenty-four persons have been infected with the COVID-19 virus after another 467 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health reported.

With these new infections, the overall number of cases increased to 71, 174.

The new cases were recorded in Region Two (four cases), Region Four (eight cases) and Region Six (12 cases).

There are seven patients in institutional isolation and 165 in home isolation.

To date, 69, 723 people have recovered.
