Nine more COVID cases

Nine more persons were infected with the novel coronavirus, based on information provided on Tuesday in the Ministry of Health’s daily dashboard.

The new cases were recorded after 232 tests were conducted over a 24-hour period. The total number of COVID-19 infections recorded locally since March 2020 has increased to 71,413.

These cases were recorded from Region Four (eight cases) and Region Six (one case).

Meanwhile, there are two patients in institutional isolation and 41 persons are in home isolation.

Thus far, 70,089 patients have recovered from the virus but 1,281 people have died.
