Another five persons infected with COVID-19

Another five more persons were infected with the novel coronavirus, based on information provided on Wednesday in the Ministry of Health’s daily dashboard.

The new cases were recorded after 208 tests were conducted over a 24-hour period. The total number of COVID-19 infections recorded locally since March 2020 has increased to 71,418.

These cases were recorded from Region Four (four cases) and Region Seven (one case).

Meanwhile, there is one patient in institutional isolation and 40 persons are in home isolation.

Thus far, 70,096 patients have recovered from the virus but 1,281 people have died.
