Police find ganja during raids in Timehri District, one man arrested
Police ranks of Regional Division 4’B’, on Thursday conducted an operation within the Timehri Police District and found over 90 grams of cannabis at two separate stalls at the Soesdyke Junction, East Bank Demerara and at the Doubles Corner, Kuru Kuru.
Additionally, a 23-year-old man of Kuru Kururu was apprehended with a quantity of cannabis after he was stopped and searched during the operation. He was arrested and placed in custody.
The cannabis found at Doubles Corner and the Junction amounted to 50.5 grams and 40.7 grams, respectively.
The narcotics found on the 23-year-old amounted to 20.5 grams.
