Annandale murder suspect succumbs

Bidraj Ganesh known as ‘Boy’, the man who brutally murdered his wife, Bibi Fazila Ally at his Annandale, East Coast Demerara home on Wednesday has succumbed to his injuries.

Ganesh attempted to take his own life following the incident.

Police Commander of Region 4C, Ewart Wray confirmed with the News Room that Ganesh succumbed while receiving medical attention at the Georgetown Public Hospital on Thursday morning.

He was under Police guard.

Murdered Annandale woman endured years of abuse

Police reported that Ally was murdered shortly after she was noticed absent from the Annandale Primary school where she worked.

Ally had endured years of abuse at the hands of Ganesh, her partner for eight years. She parted ways with him just one month ago.

Following the incident, Ganesh fled the scene in a taxi. However, he was subsequently apprehended at the Enterprise cemetery.
