ENet Introduces SWITCHED Campaign for Number Portability 

ENet, Guyana’s only 5G network, is launching SWITCHED, a campaign designed to help customers prepare for the upcoming introduction of Number Portability in Guyana. This initiative reinforces ENet’s commitment to providing consumers with more choice, flexibility, and a simple way to switch their telecommunications services.

Starting February 10, 2025, number portability will allow mobile and fixed-line customers in Guyana to switch service providers while keeping their existing phone numbers. This change, announced by the Public Utilities Commission (PUC), is a major step forward for the local telecoms industry, creating more competition and giving consumers greater control over their services.

To switch to ENet while keeping your current number, customers can visit any ENet store and request number porting. A valid form of identification is required. Mobile number porting is typically completed within one business day, while fixed-line porting takes up to five business days.
