Police probing claims of missing narcotics from HQ 

The Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) of the Guyana Police Force is said to be investigating claims of missing narcotics from the Tactical Services Unit (TSU).

The TSU is located in the compound of the Force’s headquarters at Eve Leary, Georgetown.

In a statement, Police Headquarters said the probe was launched after reports on social media and queries from reporters.

“GPF will provide an update on the investigation as soon as details are available,” the statement noted.
