Former Policeman wanted for discharging firearm with intend to murder arrested
Julius Cambridge, 25, now listed by the police as an electrician of Vigilance, East Coast Demerara but who is a former Constable within the Guyana Police Force was arrested on Wednesday.
Cambridge was arrested and charged along with others in 2023 for the possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and possession of ammunition without a license but was listed as a wanted man on Wednesday by the GPF.
Hours later, police said he was arrested in Regional Division 4C.
He was wanted for discharging a loaded firearm with intent to commit murder, an incident that occurred on April 14 and targeted Shawn Murphy on the Buxton, Line Top, East Coast Demerara.
