Grenada Tourism Authority at Giftland Mall on Thursday to promote travel, business opportunities

The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) will host a consumer pop-up event at Giftland Mall on Thursday, June 19, aimed at promoting travel and business opportunities between Guyana and Grenada.
The event, which runs from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., comes as direct flights between the two countries are now available via InterCaribbean Airways, making travel easier than ever.
Hotel and airline partners will be on-site to engage with visitors and provide guidance on booking flights, accommodations, and excursions.
“This is a very important event for us because there is so much potential for travel between Guyana and Grenada—not just for leisure, but for business opportunities as well,” said Melinda Telesford, Marketing Executive of the Grenada Tourism Authority.
Attendees can also look forward to free giveaways and samples of Grenadian delicacies, including the island’s world-renowned chocolates and rums.
Telesford noted that many people are aware of Grenada but unsure how to go about planning a trip.
“This event provides the perfect opportunity to speak directly with the GTA and our stakeholders to learn how to get there, where to stay, and what to do once on the island,” she said.
The GTA hopes the event will encourage greater travel between the two nations and strengthen regional ties.
