Suresh Beharry new GBTI Chairman 

Guyanese businessman Suresh Beharry has been appointed the new Chairman of the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI), according to a release from the bank.

GBTI, in a Facebook post, said Mr. Beharry was appointed after Robin Stoby S.C. retired from the role.

“A seasoned executive with over 15 years on our Board, Mr. Beharry brings deep industry insight and a strong commitment to our continued growth and innovation. We thank Mr. Stoby for his visionary leadership and congratulate Mr. Beharry as he steps into this important role,” GBTI said.
