    See statement from the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG):

    The Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG) successfully concluded its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 27, 2025, at the Herdmanston Lodge Hotel. At the AGM, Mr. Mitra Ramkumar, Finance Director of the Roraima Group of Companies, was elected as the President of THAG.

    Elected to support the President in his endeavors are:

    Vice President – Carla Vantull – General Manager, Wilderness Explorers

    Treasurer – Lorenzo Persaud – Business Development Manager, Ansa Motors Guyana Inc Committee Members

    Abigail Ally – Bimichi Eco Resort Malcom Rhodius – 592 Tours

    Paul Waldron – Outdoor Expeditions

    Yonnick David – Fusion Hospitality Inc

    In his address to members, Mr. Ramkumar pledged to maintain the momentum set by the previous board, reaffirming his commitment to keeping THAG moving forward and soaring to new heights.
