The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Guyana announced today that it is working with e-Magic to advance digital transformation efforts through the use of digital twins and artificial intelligence.

e-Magic, a local Guyanese company with international headquarters in Canada, is helping the EPA design and test solutions that will transform how environmental compliance data is processed, structured, and analyzed as well as Digital Twins for real-time monitoring. These engineered solutions will support the EPA in turning complex reporting into actionable insights, strengthening compliance oversight, and enabling better decision making to protect Guyana’s environment.

As a long-standing Microsoft solution provider, e-Magic brings the advantages of Microsoft’s global innovation ecosystem to national projects like this one. Through this relationship, the EPA can benefit from advanced cloud and AI technologies delivered within a framework that emphasizes local implementation, international best practices, and sustainable digital growth.

“The EPA is committed to adopting modern solutions that improve how we collect, manage and use environmental data. Working with e-Magic allows us to explore digital technologies that can enhance reporting, improve accuracy, and create new opportunities for real-time and historical monitoring of environmental performance,” said Kemraj Parsram, Executive Director of the EPA.
