Chicken ‘N’ Burger Delight opens at Royal International Mall

Locally owned fast-food franchise Chicken ‘N’ Burger Delight has opened its fourth branch, this time at the Royal International Mall, further expanding its footprint since its launch in 2019.

Managing Director Chetan Puran said the family-run business is not just about serving meals, but also about creating jobs and supporting other local enterprises.

“When we launched this brand, our vision was clear: to deliver quality food, exceptional service, and create meaningful opportunities within our community,” Puran noted, adding that this guiding principle continues to shape the company’s decisions. The brand, he said, is built on dedication, community partnership, and an unrelenting commitment to excellence.

“We commit firmly to sourcing our ingredients locally, ensuring that our growth directly supports local farmers, producers, and suppliers. This is not simply a business strategy – it is part of our responsibility,” he emphasised.

Two existing branches operate in Region Three and another in Region Two, serving a loyal customer base. The chain offers chicken sandwiches, tenders, fries, and other meal options, complemented by beverages sourced locally, including from Banks DIH.

Acknowledging the franchise’s growing impact among both locals and tourists, Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce Susan Rodrigues commended the team for boldly launching outside Georgetown. She said many companies feel safer establishing themselves in the capital, but Chicken ‘N’ Burger Delight has proven that homegrown brands can build national recognition.

She encouraged the management to continue investing in staff training to ensure top-tier customer service and praised the business for contributing meaningfully to the hospitality and food sector.

“You are represented in three regions, and that is indicative of your confidence not only in our national economy but in our regional economy as well. It also shows your commitment to communities. Every new franchise creates over 30 jobs and supports local communities and local farmers,” Minister Rodrigues said.

Minister within the Ministry of Agriculture, Vickash Ramkissoon, echoed this sentiment, welcoming the boost the new outlet provides to the wider food industry.

“Our local farmers are supported through the produce that they bring and is sold here; the poultry sector will be supported,” he said.

The Royal International Mall location is strategically positioned along one of the busiest roadways in the city, offering convenient access to shoppers and commuters alike.
