Guyana/Suriname Ferry Service suspended for emergency works

The Management of the Guyana/Suriname Ferry Service wishes to advise the general public that service will be temporarily suspended from Wednesday 4th February, 2026 until further notice. This is to facilitate emergency works onboard the MV. Canawaima.
All attempts are being made to effect remedial works in the shortest possible time.
Management apologizes for all inconvenience caused by this disruption.
