The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers continued on Saturday with Jamaica securing a 2-0 win against Guyana in Group B at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

Khadija Shaw opened the scoring for the hosts with a header in the box in the eighth minute, and just before the final whistle the Reggae Girlz doubled their lead via a header from Shania Hayles in the 88th minute.

As the winner of Group B with a 4-0-0 record, Jamaica secured its spot in the 2026 Concacaf W Championship.

Guyana’s Lady Jags left the W Qualifiers as third place of Group B with a 2-0-2 record.

The Lady Jags Head Coach Omar Khan, reacting to the outcome, said: “Jamaica deserved to win, but as a team I think Guyana showed a good performance, looking at the reactions we got from the crowd and the opponent.”

Prior to the Jamaica clash, Guyana started the campaign last November with a 3-1 loss to Nicaragua, before rebounding to beat Dominica 3-0 and Antigua 4-0.
