    Ushardeva Balgobin slammed a majestic hundred and Chaitram Rajroop picked up a five-wicket haul to highlight the individual performances in the opening round of matches in the Odyssey Sightseeing Tours Guyana Inc. T20 competition, organised by the West Demerara Cricket Association.

    The left-handed Balgobin hammered 120 against West Meten-Meer-Zorg, blasting 12 sixes and six fours, as Windsor Forest Centre piled up 201, the highest total of the round. Rajroop produced the best bowling figures of 5-5, as Goed Fortuin defeated Leonora A.

    Tasting victory were Goed Fortuin, West Coast Warriors, VNS Cricket Club, Windsor Forest Vipers, Windsor Forest Centre, Zeelugt and Region Three Police.

    SUMMARY: Leonora A 128 all out from 18.4 overs (Michael Subadar 45, Shazam Ally 17; Chaitram Rajroop 5-5, Fawaz Esau 2-11) lost to Goed Fortuin 129-4 from 17 overs (Aaron Shewpersaud 55, Damain Thomas 43; Deopersaud Lanta 2-38) by six wickets

    SUMMARY: West Coast Warriors 154-8 from 20 overs (Jermaine Scott 36, Ellyan Whyte 36, Adrian Hinds 17; Manieram Singh 2-22) defeated La Grange All Stars 118-9 from 20 overs (Manieram Singh 33, Ganesh Singh 24; Ellyan Whyte 3-20, Troy Benn 2-12, Jason Holder 2-16) by 36 runs

    In other results, Region Three Police gained a walkover from Cornelia Ida, and Zeelugt Cricket Club benefitted from same against West Demerara Renegades.
