UPDATE: GCAA launches investigation in aircraft accident at Aricheng Airstrip
The Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has launched an investigation following the aircraft accident near the Aricheng Airstrip, Region Seven.
The accident involved an CESSNA 182P aircraft with registration number N9347G, which occurred during takeoff from the Aricheng Airstrip.
The GCAA said reports indicate that there are no fatalities and it is working closely with relevant stakeholders to determine the cause of the accident.
