Yadram slams 177* as Everest/ACS crush Amazon Jaguars by 288 runs

Guyanese cricketer Bhaskar Yadram delivered a stunning batting performance to power Everest/ACS to a commanding 288-run victory over Amazon Jaguars in the New York Metropolitan Cricket League (NYMCL) 40-over competition on Sunday.
Yadram smashed an unbeaten 177 from just 56 balls, an innings studded with 19 sixes and nine fours, as Everest/ACS amassed a mammoth 423 from their allotted 40 overs.
The former Guyana and West Indies Under-19 batsman dominated the Jaguars bowling attack from the outset, scoring at a remarkable strike rate of more than 316.
His explosive innings formed the backbone of the Everest/ACS total, and he was well supported by his teammates in a powerful batting display.

Former Guyana youth player Sachin Singh contributed 60 from 57 balls, while opener Amarnauth Persaud struck 52 from 61 deliveries, including five fours and one six, to provide a solid platform.
Skipper Akeem Dewar then accelerated the scoring with a blistering 57 off 28 balls, smashing seven sixes in an entertaining knock.
Together, the quartet propelled Everest/ACS to one of the highest totals of the NYMCL season, leaving Amazon Jaguars with the daunting task of chasing 424 for victory.
In reply, the Jaguars never threatened the target and were bowled out for 135 in 28.2 overs. Adrian Persaud top-scored with 27, while Teneshwar Narine made 22 and Ibrahim Khan chipped in with 21.
However, none of the batsmen were able to build the substantial partnerships needed to challenge the imposing target.
Leg-spinner Raymond Ramrattan spearheaded the bowling attack with excellent figures of 4-51, dismantling the Jaguars’ batting order with a series of crucial breakthroughs. Keon Lake provided strong support with 2-33 as Everest/ACS maintained control throughout the innings.
The comprehensive victory capped a dominant all-round performance by Everest/ACS, with Yadram’s spectacular unbeaten 177 standing out as the defining contribution of the match.
His innings, combined with valuable support from the rest of the batting unit and a disciplined bowling effort, ensured a memorable triumph for Everest/ACS in the NYMCL 40-over competition.
