According to reports, the suspect was excreting in Wilson’s yard. Upon seeing this, Wilson armed himself with a wooden object and allegedly started hitting De Souza about his body. De Souza then allegedly stabbed Wilson about his body.
According to a Police statement, Wilson received stab wounds to the left side upper chest, left upper arm, and left side head. The incident occurred around 18:10 hrs.
De Souza’s mother said her son is a diagnosed schizophrenic who suffers from several other mental illnesses. He is a patient at the Linden Hospital Psychiatric Department.
