Seven clubs to compete in Elite League Qualification Playoff from June 13

The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) has officially conducted the draw for the 2026 Elite League Qualification Playoff, setting the stage for seven clubs from across the country to compete for promotion to Guyana’s premier football competition.
The Elite League Qualification Playoff will feature seven champion clubs representing seven Member Associations in a knockout-format tournament.
The competition is scheduled to commence on Saturday, June 13, 2026, and will determine which club earns direct qualification to the 2026/2027 Elite League season.
Participating clubs include:
- Potaro Strikers FC (Bartica Football Association)
- Paradise Invaders FC (Berbice Football Association)
- Mahaica Determinators FC (East Demerara Football Association)
- Queenstown FC (Essequibo Coast/Pomeroon Football Association)
- Camptown FC (Georgetown Football Association)
- Beavers FC (West Demerara Football Association)
- Timehri United (East Bank Football Association)
The playoff will be administered by the Guyana Football Federation and played in a single-elimination knockout format.
The champion club will secure automatic qualification to the 2026/2027 Elite League, while the runner-up will face Fruta Conquerors from the 2025/2026 Elite League Season Seven in a promotion playoff to determine the final place in the competition.
Under the tournament regulations, each participating team is permitted to register a squad of up to 25 players and five officials for the duration of the competition. Team registration will close on Friday, June 5, 2026.
